Also, Bluetooth headsets can connect to any computer, video games and even the users’ car. There are endless choices for the consumer looking to go hands-free with new Bluetooth headsets.

Setting up Bluetooth Headsets:

Before you set up your Bluetooth Headsets to work with your cell phone or any other device that supports it (examples being both the PlayStation 3 and the XBox 360 game consoles), it is important that you charge the headset wholly. Having the headset turn off in the middle of setup will not do any everlasting harm, but it will force you to restart the procedure. When this is done, the Bluetooth headsets, as well as the device you are attempting to use it with, both needs to be powered up.Â

To begin the setup process, the device you will be using your headset with must be put in “Pairing” mode. This is the mode that tells it to search for compatible Bluetooth headsets. All cell phones and other devices are different, but the option for this is almost always found under some kind of “Connections” or likewise titled sub menu of the device’s options menu. At this time, the Bluetooth headset must also be put in pairing mode. Depending on the model of headset, it may be referred to as “Sync” mode in the user’s manual.

Once the Bluetooth headset and the device are in pairing mode at the same time, the device will begin to scan the area for everything that supports a Bluetooth signal. This scan usually takes about 60 seconds. At the end of the scan, the device will display a list of everything in the area that supports Bluetooth and is in “pairing” mode-the only device on the list should be your Bluetooth headsets. Highlight the headset on the list and select “OK.” You are now ready to use your Bluetooth headsets wherever you go. Â
